How we look after your information.
Last updated 30 October 2026
TripDaisy provides trip apps for tour operators. This page explains what information we hold, why, and for how long. Tour operators decide what goes into their trips; for travellers' information, the operator is responsible for it and we look after it on their behalf.
What we hold
- Operator accounts: names, email addresses, and workspace settings for the people who build trips.
- Trip content: itineraries, hotels, documents, and images that operators add.
- Travellers: the names and email addresses operators add so they can send invitations, and the push notification token of a phone that opens a trip.
Where it's kept
On Amazon Web Services in Sydney, Australia. Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, and trip passcodes are encrypted separately.
How long we keep it
Travellers' details and phone tokens are deleted automatically 90 days after their trip ends. Operator accounts and trips are kept until the operator deletes them or closes their account.
What we don't do
We don't sell information, show advertising, or track travellers across other apps and websites. This website doesn't use tracking cookies.
Services we use
Amazon Web Services (hosting, email, and maps), Expo (delivering notifications to phones), Open-Meteo (weather forecasts, which receive a destination's coordinates only), and Stripe (payments, for operators on a paid plan).
Your choices
Travellers can ask their tour operator, or us, to see or delete their information. Operators can delete trips and travellers at any time from the trip builder. For anything else, emailhello@tripdaisy.com.
